In February's issue of Vanity Fair, Buzz Bissinger writes an article "Tiger in the Rough" that attacks Tiger Woods like no other article ever has. It's a scathing attack on Tiger Woods. Here's a key paragraph:

"In the wake of the steamy revelations, Logan, like the general public, feels that Tiger willfully, and fraudulently, created an image designed to make him as much money as possible: “He held himself out to a higher standard he created and built and cashed in on. Everyone feels duped and betrayed. It’s not like some guy who got drunk and jumped in the sack with some waitress.”

Huffington Post reports that porn (or adult film) studio Vivid CEO Steven Hirsch says that a sex tape allegedly with Tiger Woods is being shopped around right now. He says he has seen 30 seconds of it and is reviewing it to determine if it is really Tiger Woods.

Wow. That's all we can say. Speechless.

Pres. Obama is back in DC. The PGA is back in Hawaii for the SBS Championship. It's going to be a great 2010! We can feel it.

It's Tiger Woods' birthday today, probably a weird one at that. We wish him a great day and better year.

Over a week ago, The Golf Blog speculated, What would happen if Tiger Woods tried to get together again with Rachel Uchitel (who then reportedly was back in Florida from NYC).

Well, surprise, surprise, Entertainment Tonight is reporting that sources have told it that Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel were "holding hands" at a party in private mansion in Palm Beach. ET suggests that the two may even be living together. If true, so much for trying to become a "better husband."

Well, it looks like Pres. Barack Obama has his priorities straight. First, he was playing golf on vacation today. Then, he left the course mid-round to check on an injury suffered by a child of Eric and Cheryl Whitaker, friends of the Obamas traveling with them. The injury was reportedly minor, so Pres. Obama later returned to the golf course.

All of the old Accenture ads with Tiger Woods have a double meaning now. We spotted these at Houston Bush Int'l Airport this weekend. These will be collector's items on eBay one day. Whoever gets them will be lucky!

Newport tries to think of how Tiger Woods will recover from his fall from public grace. Newport writes the key is that Tiger Woods make some kind of public (in person) statement that is convincing: "Not slickly convincing in a way that bears the fingerprints of a public relations team, but genuinely convincing. We, the golf public, will know it when we see it."
